Entry into force of Protocol for amending the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement of 26 October, 1998 between India and Bulgaria (May 12, 2008)

The Protocol for amendments to the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement of 26 October, 1998 between India and Bulgaria was signed during the visit of Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev to India during September 10-15, 2007. The Protocol came into force on May 12, 2008 on the date of exchange of the last diplomatic note confirming the fulfillment of the necessary legal requirements by both sides in accordance with Article IV and V of the Protocol.
