The Indian Embassy in Sofia grants visas to Bulgarian, Macedonians and nationals of other countries intending to visit India for transit, tourist, business and other purposes, in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the same.
Timings: The Visa Department is open on all working days from 10:00 hrs to 12:30 hrs for receiving documents for service. Serviced documents may be collected between 15:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs on the day advised. |

Requirements for visas
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months more from the date of return from India. Passport should have at least 2 blank pages for affixing the visa
- Two passport sized recent photographs
- Correct visa fee (in leva only)
- Supporting documents (Please see under type of visas and documents required)
- Duly completed application form

The current visa fees applicable to a Bulgarian / Macedonian Passport holder for different categories of visitors are indicated below. The visa fees are subject to change without notice. Other nationalities may kindly ascertain the fee from the Embassy.
